The Center for Market Education (CME) is a leading think-firm in the region, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a regional office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

CME specializes in business advisory, economic analysis, big data, and training services. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in securing advertisements to support our monthly economic bulletin, Espresso, which is distributed to 20,000 qualified contacts.

You will also be responsible for seeking subscriptions for our dynamic and interactive database on the Malaysian economy, Coffee Bar. While these tasks are the primary responsibilities of the Sales Representative, you may also take the initiative to promote our core services: research-on-demand, policy analysis, database development, and economist-on-call.

To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of experience within a Sales Operations/Sales Support role, preferably within the Consulting and Education industry.

You should possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as be a strong networker and relationship builder. Additionally, you should be highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments.

Travel will be extensive, with over 60% of your time spent on the road. You should be adaptable and thrive in changing environments. Fluency in English and Bahasa Melayu is required, with Mandarin being a plus.
