As a Senior Executive, Financial Reporting, you'll be responsible for supporting the Manager Financial Reporting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports. This includes external reporting, statutory reporting, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete monthly closing tasks within specified deadlines, including accruals, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, taxation, and closing-related journal entries.
  2. Prepare monthly management accounts, related party transaction schedules, IIP reports, balance sheet schedules, and bank reconciliations.
  3. Assist the manager in completing impairment assessments, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) assessments, and Cost of Investment (COI) assessments during the year-end process.
  4. Ensure all financial transactions are systematically and accurately recorded in ledgers and other records, in accordance with Accepted Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Support tax reporting and the submission of tax returns for all companies.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors for any audit queries and requirements, working with bankers, legal advisors, company secretaries, tax agents, and authorities.
  7. Identify and manage risks associated with the financial activities of the business, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues.
  8. Monitor and control expenses to ensure they remain within budget, providing insights and recommendations for cost management.
  9. Participate in initiatives focused on digitalization and automation.
  10. Undertake project work, ad-hoc assignments, or other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Post-graduate Diploma in Accounting, or Professional Degree or equivalent Professional Accounting qualification.
  2. A member of ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent would be advantageous.
  3. Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience.
  4. Full command of Microsoft Office programmes.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks and challenges.
  8. High level of motivation and proactive approach to problem-solving.
