Compliance and Risk Governance Professional

We are seeking a Compliance and Risk Governance Professional to join our team in Malaysia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring effective compliance with local third-party and outsourcing regulations, including our Global policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with ability to analyze complex risks and develop practical solutions. Your in-depth knowledge of TPRM frameworks, risk management methodologies, and regulatory requirements will enable you to effectively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective compliance with local third-party and outsourcing regulations, including our Global policies and standards.
  • Drive root cause analysis of third-party risk issues and work with business and in-business risk and control teams to implement correction action plans.
  • Partner with businesses, including Chief Country Officer and Head of Operations, to properly assess broader impact and require implementation of correct action plans where broader applications are identified.
  • Leverage change management approaches and methods to assess capacity and readiness for change, and use this assessment to work with P&TPM and business leaders to establish an implementation plan for process improvement/transformation.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in third-party risk management, operational risk, or related field within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of TPRM frameworks, risk management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex risks and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build strong relationships across functions and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of governance frameworks and experience in supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
