Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Mühlbauer Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling modules according to technical documents using provided assembly tools.

• Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble modules according to technical documents using provided assembly tools, and perform quality checks on own and others' assembled modules.
• Quality Improvement: Drive quality topics, reminding everyone to prioritize quality in all actions, and conduct error searches/troubleshooting of modules in test stations or machines.
• Production Management: Responsible for production hour bookings (BDE) and productivity of self and staff, and maintain housekeeping of the work area and assembly.
• Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain standardized work instructions for all assigned areas, complete all necessary assembly reporting and required paperwork, and mentor new staff, trainees, and part-timers as assigned.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost, and safety objectives, supporting continuous improvement through Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing processes.

• Education: Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
• Skills: Ability to efficiently use all MS Office applications, good product knowledge, strong planning, organizing, communication, follow-up, and coordination skills, proactive, resourceful nature, and ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
• Language: Fluency in verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
