Procurement Role at Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd.

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and sourcing of produce, managing relationships with suppliers and buyers, and analyzing and monitoring stock inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business demand and supply
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and buyers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Conduct thorough analysis and monitoring of stock inventory to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure compliance with HALAL requirements
  • Perform ad-hoc duties related to the position as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in the same or similar field
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of market trends
  • Excellent negotiation skills to perform procurement functions effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in data analysis
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
