About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly formed Shared Services Centre team in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. As an Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime of all Hyva data centres and/or Hyva subsidiaries. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the business, including our Global functions teams in Netherlands and other parts of the world.
We offer a hybrid working approach, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities to grow within Infrastructure or wider IT functions.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Microsoft 365 technical applications
- Overseeing technical management of Microsoft Azure resources
- Performing continuous monitoring and control of critical systems and domains across Hyva
- Identifying and resolving issues
- Collaborating with global data centres, network services, telephone systems, software systems, and other stakeholders to restore service availability or identify problems
- Proposing system modifications to minimize user issues on systems, databases, and applications
- Participating in reviews of problem situations, process improvements, and identifying opportunities for growth
- Acquiring technical and product knowledge to resolve complex problems
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of server hardware and software at Hyva
- Performing server upgrades and updates as needed
- Responding to third-line incidents and problem tickets on-site or remotely
- Contacting vendors or accessing online technical support for required assistance and updates
- Providing network support, including installing network applications, granting access to users, creating user groups, and managing shared resources
- Contacting vendors for specifications, pricing, warranty cases, and other purchase-related information to guide departments in selecting hardware or software
- Maintaining licenses and coordinating volume purchase arrangements for standard Hyva software packages
