As a key member of the Accounting General Ledger team, the Senior Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the team lead in establishing general ledger governance and global journal entry definition.

This involves working closely with accounting management and R2R Global Process Owner to harmonize the journal process globally, ensuring that all daily operational tasks performed are in accordance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Control guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting the team lead in establishing general ledger governance and global JE definition.
  2. One Stop Center to optimize the end-to-end process of global JE posting to minimize non-value-added communication traffic.
  3. Achieving accelerated journal posting through mass upload/ automation.
  4. Enabling global reconciliation with potential improvements to closing timelines.

The successful candidate will possess a degree with 3-5 years of accounting experience, along with expertise in helping to manage change, implementing new procedures, and re-engineering processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication skills in English, are essential.
