X-FAB Sarawak Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to safeguard our global IT infrastructure. As a key member of the Global IT Security Team, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital assets from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and develop countermeasures to ensure robust defenses against cyber threats.
• Implement and maintain IT security standards and best practices to safeguard our digital assets.
• Collaborate with the Global IT Security Team to ensure adherence to X-FAB's IT security standards and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement security awareness programs to enhance employee training and education.
• Provide guidance and direction to management on strategic security investments and IT security standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of technical and administrative skills in various operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
• Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security.
• Good knowledge of IT Security Design Architecture, OSI model, TCP/IP model, Network Security and Protocols.
• Good knowledge and experience with security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Anti-Malware, DRM, DLP, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
• Good knowledge and familiarity of IT networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Switches, Routers, RADIUS/TACACS+, etc.).
