Job Description

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing discretionary portfolio mandates (DPM) and discretionary fund portfolios (DFP), including Malaysian and global fixed income mandates. This role requires a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in portfolio management, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of investment strategies and risk management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client portfolios/funds under the guidance of strategic views from the CIO Office and Investment procedures.
  • Evaluating the risks and opportunities of investment portfolios, including monitoring holdings to identify buy/sell candidates based on relative value comparison.
  • Tracking and monitoring daily spreads/prices for all portfolio/fund positions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial projections and asset valuations, as well as familiarity with portfolio management tools. A self-motivated individual with strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure is essential.
