Job Opportunity:

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of financial crimes compliance and operational risk practices in the Asia Pacific region. You will collaborate closely with Global Financial Crimes executives and managers to identify, escalate, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with established programs and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and manage the financial crimes program in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise policies.
  2. Oversee the coordination and review of Front-Line Unit escalations on financial crimes inquiries, risks, and concerns.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial crimes policies and standards, ensuring relevance to regulatory requirements and operational risks.
  4. Produce high-quality financial crimes risk management reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and advise business leaders on implementing necessary policy updates.
  6. Collaborate with teams to develop risk coverage plans and execute risk monitoring, testing, and assessments.
  7. Ensure effective escalation of financial crimes-related compliance and operational risks to relevant governance bodies.
  8. Lead remediation efforts for identified issues and enhance controls to mitigate financial crimes risks.
