We are seeking a highly skilled Global Compensation Strategist to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our compensation and benefits team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective global compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience, excellent planning, organizing, and analytical skills, as well as knowledge of local taxation and financial/budgeting skills. Advanced proficiency in English is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement global compensation strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement rewards and benefits policies at local/regional level.
- Prepare and analyze HR Budget Support documentation (headcount and/or personnel cost evolution).
- Monitor application of yearly salary increase policy (criteria and data integrity/consistency).
- Analyze and monitor information related to expenses incurred under the HR Budget for each Unit.
- Conduct benchmarking studies to identify best practices in compensation and benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement total rewards programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
