The Sr Account Executive will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in Malaysia.
This role requires a highly skilled sales professional who can think strategically, work collaboratively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers;
- Fulfill requests for information from prospective customers and qualify opportunities;
- Implement territory and account management strategies to grow and retain customers within assigned territories;
- Prepare quotations and proposal information as needed, collaborating with other departments to create and finalize contracts;
- Follow up with customers to track satisfaction levels and discover additional revenue opportunities;
- Develop a basic understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures, and approvals matrix;
- Fully utilize account planning processes and tools to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in a relevant sales role;
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered;
- Advanced knowledge of industry software and hardware terminology and concepts, as well as strategic sales techniques;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic selling skills, and ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics;
- Ability to initiate and lead projects, work effectively in a team environment, and relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
