Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and drafts for IC Socket based on customer requirements.
- Create 2D or 3D data sets based on NBO from Sales team using relevant CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with Sales team and Production to optimize engineering design.
- Complete assigned projects on schedule in a demanding environment.
- Provide technical guidance, solutions, and customer support as needed.
- Conduct detailed tolerance analysis on design works.
- Generate and prepare detailed design drawings and Bills of Material within project timelines.
- Upload completed drawings and data to GEOS Meslink system.
- Ensure all drawing registrations and codes adhere to company design standards.
- Work with machining suppliers or others to resolve design issues.
- Apply modification drawings as required.
- Verify customer package drawings with existing socket drawings.
- Report irregular issues and problems to supervisor for resolution.
- Prepare and present design information to Sales team and stakeholders via DR meetings.
- Ensure components and assemblies meet good applicable socket functioning standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical).
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in Semiconductor and equivalent industry.
- CGPA 3.0 above.
- Fresh graduates with Japanese language proficiency may also apply.
- Proficient in 2D, 3D CAD, Solidworks, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical design skills for problem-solving related to socket issues.
