Biomedical Engineer

Biomedical engineers play a critical role in developing innovative solutions for healthcare challenges. At National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (Nibm), we are seeking a talented Biomedical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of biosensors for medical applications.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in biomedical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field, with a strong understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments to develop and optimize biosensor prototypes, particularly based on lateral flow technology. They will also analyze and interpret experimental data to drive decision-making and collaborate with other scientists to integrate biosensors into larger systems.

In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with bioreceptors, lateral flow technology, and prototype research and development is highly desirable.
