Defence Healthcare Vacancy - Locum Practice Nurse Required

Dream Medical is partnering with a Ministry of Defence medical base to find a skilled and dedicated locum Practice Nurse (Band 5) to join their team in Tidworth.

  • Competent in Immunisation, Venepuncture, Audiology.
  • Patient Group Directive (PGDs) in a related Community Health discipline or portfolio evidence of equivalent experience.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to join the Ministry of Defence healthcare team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

  • Administering immunisations and conducting venepunctures
  • Providing audiological services including audiometry and ear syringing
  • Assessing and managing patients with chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes
  • Supporting learning and assessment in practice
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A recognised nursing qualification and registration with the NMC
  • Experience in a similar role or community health setting
  • Portfolio evidence of Patient Group Directives (PGDs)
