Job Description:

We are seeking a Backup Data Specialist to join our team at Standard Chartered. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, upholding and enforcing all Bank technical, security, quality, and engineering standards on supported assets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in scripting/coding and have knowledge of security scanning technologies. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Bank ITSM processes such as Incident, Change and Problem Management.

This role also involves working closely with audit, risk and application teams on data restoration and recovery. The candidate will also be responsible for exercising advanced troubleshooting skills when responding to incidents, including major incidents and escalations.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including core bank funding for retirement savings, medical and life insurance, flexible and voluntary benefits available in some locations. We also provide time-off, including annual leave, parental/maternity (20 weeks), sabbatical (12 months maximum) and volunteering leave (3 days), along with minimum global standards for annual and public holiday, which is combined to 30 days minimum.
