Job Profile:

Key Activities:
  1. Develop and implement purchasing strategies that ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials at optimized costs.
  2. Create and manage virtual warehousing systems to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce waste.
  3. Collaborate with R&D engineers to establish inspection reference standards for incoming materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  4. Oversee the quality management of incoming materials, verifying they meet required specifications.
  5. Work closely with production personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards during incoming material inspections.
  6. Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials, promoting a strong vendor relationships.
  7. Monitor supplier performance, maintaining open communication to address any concerns or issues.
  8. Coordinate with internal teams, including production and R&D, to align purchasing activities with company needs and goals.
  9. E nsure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices.
  10. Analyze purchasing reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize procurement strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing management, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement principles.
  3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  4. Familiarity with virtual warehousing and inventory management is an advantage, but not required.
  5. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D and production departments, to drive business results.
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  7. Proficient in English, Malay, and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
