X-FAB Sarawak Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to safeguard our global IT infrastructure. As a key member of our Global IT Security Team, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital assets from cyber threats.

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments: Identify and analyze potential security weaknesses in our systems and networks.
• Develop Countermeasures: Design and implement effective security solutions to mitigate identified risks.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that our IT security standards and industry best practices are adhered to.
• Enhance Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT security best practices.
• Collaborate with the Global IT Security Team: Work closely with other Security Engineers to ensure a unified approach to IT security.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

• Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security
• Good knowledge of IT Security Design Architecture, OSI model, TCP/IP model, Network Security and Protocols
• Experience with security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Anti-Malware, DRM, DLP, vulnerability scanners, etc.)
• Good knowledge and familiarity of IT networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Switches, Routers, RADIUS/TACACS+, etc.)
