The International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ) is a global leader in the field of justice and rule of law. Our mission is to build capacity among justice practitioners to counter terrorism, violent extremism, and transnational crime.

One of our core priorities is to strengthen institutional capacities in Southeast Asia to counter terrorist financing. We believe that effective public-private cooperation is crucial in achieving this goal.

To support this effort, we are seeking an expert consultant to develop a Good Practices Manual on Establishing Effective Public-Private Cooperation in Countering the Financing of Terrorism. The consultant will work closely with the IIJ project team to develop the manual, which will be used by CFT practitioners and policymakers from Southeast Asia.

The consultant's responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting desk research on existing challenges in public-private cooperation in CFT in Southeast Asia;
  • Attending the IIJ Regional Workshop on Mitigating Terrorist Financing Risks Associated with Virtual Assets;
  • Developing a report outlining the regional context, needs, and challenges, as well as an overview of existing tools available for Southeast Asian practitioners.

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with expertise in CFT research, policy-making, and international cooperation.
