Job Title: IT Application Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Application Specialist to join our team at Arvato Systems Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing IT software solutions, managing licenses, and facilitating smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. IT Software Solutions Management: Manage and record IT requirements from specialist departments, support in the conceptual design and evaluation, as well as the procurement and commissioning of new software solutions.
  2. Documentation and Knowledge Management: Prepare collected information for our documentation and knowledge management systems.
  3. Software Solution Implementation: Transfer new software solutions and functional enhancements to regular IT operations.
  4. License Management: Manage licenses and handle usage metrics for software solutions and cloud applications in cooperation with central license management.
  5. Patch Management: Take over patch management for the IT applications supported.
  6. Second-Level Support: Provide second-level support for the IT applications supported.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  2. Cloud Application Knowledge: Knowledge of cloud applications, their administration, and maintenance.
  3. Application Knowledge: Know-how in dealing with applications based on MS Windows.
  4. Communication Skills: High level of communication skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Work Style: Independent, careful, and results-oriented way of working.
  6. Language Skills: Good command of the English language.
