Job Overview

Bumi Armada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cryogenic Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert marine engineering knowledge and supporting CCS system performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • To support and provide marine engineering knowledge to CCS system and ensure project performance targets are achieved in a safe and environmentally sound manner with compliance to Regulatory requirements.
  • To participate and contribute to providing Marine engineering input to technical issues raised by Clients.
  • To prepare documents (specification, drawing, calculation etc.) related to Marine deliverables (mainly for LCO2 system including storage, transfer, handling, operating philosophy etc.).
  • To manage and be accountable for tasks given, as delegated by the Lead Engineer.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of working experience in the Cryogenic system.
  • BEng or Bsc in Mechanical / Marine / Chemical engineering.
  • Registered with recognized engineering bodies (BEM / IEM / MBOT etc).

Personal Qualities

  • Experience in designing Cryogenic systems at least 1-2 offshore / onshore projects.
  • Possess knowledge of Classification & IMO requirements, and Engineering Codes & Standards for Oil & Gas Industry, e.g. ASME, API, ASTM, etc.
  • Good verbal and written skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and adaptability.
  • Able to work independently.
