eAuction Professional

We're looking for a highly skilled eAuction Professional - Supply Chain Management to join our team at Standard Chartered. As a key member of the SCM function, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of auctioning capabilities and influencing sourcing activities through auctions in collaboration with various business functions and related support teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the eAuction capability within SCM, including enhancing existing processes to embed eAuction thinking into the SCM community, identifying priority reverse auction opportunities from in-flight sourcing engagements, and driving the execution of eAuctions by supporting Global Category Management and embedding the approach into Global Category Strategies.

You will also be expected to liaise with business functions leads to produce needs assessments aligned to their business plans, ensure the intrinsic business value of the eAuction approach is communicated and understood by stakeholders, and provide guidance on the SCM eAuction process, system, and benefits.

1. Develop the eAuction capability within Supply Chain Management, including:
   • Enhancing existing processes to embed eAuction thinking into the SCM community
   • Identifying Priority Reverse Auction opportunities from in-flight Sourcing Engagements
   • Drive the execution of eAuctions by supporting Global Category Management and embedding the approach into the Global Category Strategies.
