Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer who specializes in automation and has worked on multiple large-scale projects.

This individual should have a history of being a strong individual contributor who works independently and excel in dynamic and demanding environments.

The ideal candidate will be outspoken, a strong communicator, and decisive, with the ability to articulate their ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs that form the backend of web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, manual QA testers, and the product manager to understand and execute requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in building and maintaining automation tests for APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management practices.
  • Programming Language: Proficient in at least one scripting language like Python, Javascript, etc.
  • Tools: Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab.
