About the Team:
The GREAT EASTERN Risk Management team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact the company's operations and strategic objectives. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as AVP, Technology Risk Management.
About the Job:
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing IT risks, developing Technology related frameworks and policies, and conducting training and awareness programs. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review Technology related frameworks, policies and guidelines
- Manage IT risks identification, mitigation and monitoring
- Conduct training and awareness programs on Technology related subjects
- Review management of Technology related risk and threats
- Identify emerging Technology trends, risks and threats
- Perform reviews of functions to determine effectiveness and completeness of technology risk identification, mitigation and monitoring
- Assess the implementation and compliance to regulatory guidelines, frameworks and policies
- Prepare relevant reports and table the same at relevant management or board committee meetings
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines
- Good risk identification and management skills
- Ability to manage, motivate and lead support personnel
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks with given deadlines
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Team player and performs well under pressure
- Excellent people & project management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Good IT related knowledge in the following areas:
- a) Risks management and mitigating controls
- b) Cyber Security and controls
- c) Regulatory requirements
- d) Policies and best IT practices, methodologies and benchmarks
