We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Specialist to join our team at Aramco.
The successful candidate will provide technical support to our operations, including design review for engineering packages and development of MetOcean criteria for offshore designs.
This role involves conducting analysis and design of offshore jacket structures using SACS software, as well as assessing and carrying out hydrodynamic and mooring analysis for floating systems.
In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will participate in standard development and reviews, conduct vendor technical assessments, and support ongoing innovation/technology programs and strategic initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis and design of offshore jacket structures using SACS software
- Perform design review for engineering packages in support of ongoing capital and maintenance potential projects
- Develop and interpret MetOcean criteria for offshore designs
- Assess and carry out hydrodynamic and mooring analysis for floating systems
- Participate in standard development and reviews
- Conduct vendor technical assessments
- Support ongoing innovation/technology programs and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Marine Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of professional engineering experience
- Familiarity with API offshore standards
- Proficient in structural engineering design software (SACS, ANSYS)
