Main Responsibilities:

  • Issuance of purchase orders per request or system triggering (Microsoft D365).
  • Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of materials to ensure production build fulfillment.
  • Procurement and negotiation of parts, components, equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers meeting delivery schedule within lead time.
  • Supervisor of Supplier's forecast and coordination with Supplier and Categories team to resolve supply risk, gap, and escalation in timely manner.
  • Analysis of forecast accuracy and capacity requirement and communication with stakeholders for necessary actions to support business and customer needs.
  • Management of stock levels/availabilities and review of Min-Max for parts in BOM list.
  • Collaboration with Categories Management team on Supplier Frame Contract and periodic system update and revised plan when forecast changes.
  • Promotion of meeting department KPI – Supplier on Time Delivery (SOTD), Inventory Turns, Excess and Obsolescence materials, monitoring, and ensuring 100% fulfillment of delivery dates of PO stated.
  • Closely working with suppliers, Categories team (Purchasing), Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), Supplier Development Quality (SDQ), Warehouse and Shipping in goods return/replacement if any rejects are found.
  • Review of Purchase Order claims for conformance to company policy and procedures.
  • Participation in change control process and ensuring transition plan is in place to phase in new parts and phase out obsoleted parts to avoid or minimize impact on scrap cost.
  • Collaboration with Strategic Purchasing in the development and handover of new products and support of inventory management for flawless transition to mass production.
  • Management of supplier scorecard with Categories Team and coordination of supplier continuous improvement (development) initiative.
  • Closely working with Finance to close all challenges of Account Payable properly.
  • Promotion of innovation and focus activities on continuous improvement within the Supply Chain Organization.
  • Support to Purchasing Leader with reports on and as needed.
