We are seeking a talented Cloud Hosted Software Professional to join our Engineering team at Versa Asia. As a Cloud Hosted Software Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, writing clean code, and collaborating with senior engineers.

The successful candidate will participate in code reviews, write unit & integration tests, assist in design & implementation of new features and functionality, troubleshoot & debug software issues, work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs, stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends, collaborate effectively with Engineering team members & other teams, and contribute to Engineering team's knowledge base & documentation.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain software applications under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
  2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  3. Write unit & integration tests to ensure the quality & stability of the codebase.
  4. Participate in code reviews to learn from Senior Engineers and ensure code quality.
  5. Assist in design & implementation of new features and functionality.
  6. Troubleshoot & debug software issues.
  7. Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs.
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends.
  9. Collaborate effectively with Engineering team members & other teams.
  10. Contribute to Engineering team's knowledge base & documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. 1 year experience in software development.
  3. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  4. Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile).
  5. Good problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Eagerness to learn & contribute to a team.
  8. Eagerness to learn & grow as a software engineer.
  9. Experience working with cloud hosting (GCP/AWS).
  10. Highly interested in Fintech industry.
