Job Description

Purpose:

  • Streamline payment processing to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with business counterparts to drive process governance and best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines, ensuring timely completion of payment processing and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Support cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and managing change initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance payment processing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury department to ensure sufficient funds are available for disbursements.
  • Monitor and analyze payment proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Communicate payment processing status and any issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Identify areas for improvement in payment processing and propose changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on new technologies and methodologies.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing information and documentation as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Support process improvements and change initiatives, applying analytical skills to identify solutions and implement changes.
  • Develop and present reports to key stakeholders, highlighting payment processing trends, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration with 5 years of related industry experience or equivalent in Disbursement or other accounting functions in an MNC or Shared Service.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, cash management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a shared service center or multinational corporation.
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and methodologies, with ability to apply these concepts to improve business processes.
  • English proficiency is mandatory, with additional languages beneficial for roles requiring international support.
