Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced R&D professional to join our Regional team in Asia Pacific. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting local R&D teams on formulations, new product development, adaptation, and documentation. You will also stimulate the implementation of our Bakery strategy into the region and promote the generation of innovations inspired by local or regional products or traditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Local R&D Teams
  • You will collaborate with local general managers, R&D managers, and sales managers to provide local support and service in different countries in the Region.
  • You will develop local sales through tailor-made product adaptation and promote the generation of innovations inspired by local or regional products or traditions.
  • You will ensure that countries achieve their innovation pyramid and keep it up-to-date.
Stimulate Implementation of Bakery Strategy
  • You will implement our Bakery strategy into the region's new product development.
  • You will follow up technology developments & innovations of Head Quarters and transfer them into the region.
  • You will support and implement training of our local R&D Managers.
Support Bakery Product Range Business Development
  • You will participate in seminars, trainings, customer visits, trade shows, internal and external presentations.
  • You will work together with local Key Account Managers to support large international accounts.
Promote Total Quality Values and Procedures
  • You will implement our Values and procedures related to Total Quality in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
  • You must have a strong background in Bakery/Food R&D with at least 5 years of experience.
  • You should possess analytical, team-player skills with excellent communication/commercial skills.
  • You should have a strong knowledge of food ingredients and their applications in bakery products, as well as a passion for food.
  • You should be business-driven, willing to travel often within the region, and fluent in English.
