This position involves delivering expert support to ensure seamless financial reporting for a portfolio of companies.

Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain consistency and adherence to best practices across the function, driving ongoing improvements in business performance and processes.

Support general accounting activities and timely period-end closing and reporting in compliance with FRS, Group accounting policies, and statutory requirements.

Prepare detailed financial and management reports along with related analysis and commentaries.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervision of period-end closing activities including GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation, and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end account closure.
  2. Analysis and review of Balance Sheet and P&L monthly schedules.
  3. Preparation and submission of a monthly reporting package for group consolidation purposes.
  4. Ensure tax compliance and reporting (e.g. GST/WHT/Corporate Income Tax).
  5. Support internal audit, statutory audit, and related matters.
  6. Compilation of monthly financial and management reports with associated analysis and commentaries.
  7. Management of Fixed Asset Register and Inventory Register.
  8. Policies and procedure implementation; trend analysis and forecasting; process explanation and recommendation.
  9. Process improvement and enhancement as necessary.
  10. Ad-hoc project support as required.
