This role requires a seasoned professional to develop and implement global key strategies for NAS, Block, and Object Storage in Standard Chartered Bank. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and planning storage technologies, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. They will also be responsible for developing archival strategies and providing senior-level coverage across the domain.
Responsibilities- Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
- Identify and recommend new products or technology that can add value to the organization and align to the storage strategic goals.
- Work with Security Technology Services to ensure Storage architecture design/solutions can meet bank security standards.
- Develop RFPs/RFIs, oversee product evaluations, coordinate product selections, ensuring pricing, terms, and conditions meet bank IT standards.
- In-depth knowledge of Netapp ONTAP 9, Hardware, and Snapmirror data protection.
- Skill with S3 Object Storage solutions and integration.
- Technical knowledge of SAN Storage (Hitachi/Pure/Dell).
- Technical knowledge of Backup (Cohesity/Networker/NetBackup/Arcserve).
