Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Control Systems (ICS) engineer to join our team. As an ICS engineer, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and testing industrial control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and secure operations.

This role is based in Menara ExxonMobil, Kuala Lumpur, and requires a strong understanding of ICS architecture and environment, including operational aspects such as reliability, redundancy, high availability, remote support, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate industrial control systems for designated applications/platforms/technologies
  • Evaluate and propose new and alternate product releases; participate in research and development for new technologies
  • Meet ExxonMobil ICS requirements for safe, reliable, and secure operations
  • Provide critical communication and information sharing to sites and be an active part of the global community of Control Systems Engineers
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have or be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology
  • Experience supporting Industrial Control Systems and/or automation projects in the petrochemical, manufacturing or similar industry
  • Understanding of ICS architecture and environment including operational aspects
  • Experience/hands-on with Virtualization, Windows Servers and Active Directory, Database administration, OPC, Ethernet networking
  • Skills in scripting or compiled programming languages to develop tools, automation or solutions
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts for Industrial Control Systems
