Financial Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Financial Account Manager to join our team at PPG Industries (UK) Limited. As a key member of our credit operations department, you will be responsible for managing relationships with our customers and ensuring that all transactions are processed smoothly.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide daily account management services to our active customers, including order release, based on established PPG policy.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and updating customer account status and collection activity in the note system, initiating credit review recommendations to management for consideration/approval, and assessing customer account information to determine if respective credit limits are increased to support orders as routed for credit review.
In addition, you will recommend credit hold and communicate such action across different departments, as well as monitor repayments to ensure receipt by promised date.
As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with other teams to achieve company objectives and provide assistance and cover for the Assistant Manager.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, and at least 2 years of experience in a credit or financial field.
Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin, you should possess strong knowledge of credit and finance regulations and be proficient in Microsoft Office Systems especially MS Excel.
Familiarity with SAP system is highly desirable.
