About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Chip In. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our payment services comply with both local and international regulations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework.
  2. Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, including Bank Negara Malaysia.
  3. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance.
  4. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies as necessary.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs on compliance-related topics.
  6. Create and implement risk management and compliance programs for the fintech industry.
  7. Provide expert guidance on compliance matters and respond to regulatory queries.
  8. Stay informed about changes in payment industry regulations and adapt compliance measures accordingly.
What We're Looking For:
  • A proven track record as a Compliance Officer in the payment industry, with expertise in merchant acquiring services.
  • An in-depth understanding of Malaysia's regulatory environment, particularly regulations overseen by Bank Negara Malaysia.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in regulatory liaison.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with advanced compliance certifications preferred.
