Main Responsibilities- Manage and guide a team of Java developers to execute projects efficiently.
- Maintain high product quality through code review and design reviews.
- Develop and implement high-quality products that meet customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Design and propose suitable software architecture with correct design patterns.
- Collaborate with the front-end team to develop high-performance, user-friendly, and stable web products.
- Identify and resolve issues based on client feedback and logs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology stacks to enhance product performance and quality.
- Document knowledge and expertise with the team.
- Assist in database performance optimization and query enhancement.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Proven expertise in Java-based application development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with Spring & Hibernate is an advantage.
- Unix/Linux environment experience is required.
- Knowledge of source control tools is necessary.
- Microservices familiarity is an advantage.
- Database performance tuning experience is an advantage.
- DevOps relevant tasks experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge on Billing/charging interface/API is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with customers and address adoption barriers.
- Experience in leading & managing a team of Developers / Programmers is crucial.
- Language(s): English, Malay, and Mandarin.
