Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Micron Technology. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven insights.

1. Data Analysis and Insights: Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
2. Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy software programs and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
3. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data analysis needs and successfully implement solutions. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
4. Database Management: Extract data from diverse databases using SQL and other query languages, applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.

1. Education and Experience: B.S. or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Physics. Demonstrated experience in data science and machine learning.
2. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in statistical modeling, feature extraction, and analysis. Strong software development skills, with fluency in Python and/or R. Experience with machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.
