At Grab, our People Operations team is on a mission to transform human resources in the same dynamic way we're changing transportation. We're looking for a talented individual to join our tight-knit Talent Acquisition team as an Executive Talent Business Partner. This role will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier senior executives and board members globally to achieve our strategic goals.

The Role

As an Executive Talent Business Partner, you will lead the full-cycle executive search process, including sourcing, pipelining talent, and market mapping for active needs and opportunistic hiring. You will collaborate with senior leadership, including the Executive Committees and Board Members, to understand strategic hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Your expertise in end-to-end recruitment, stakeholder management, market research, candidate sourcing, assessment, offer management, employer branding, and compliance will be essential in delivering high-quality candidates.

Critical Tasks

  • Executive Search: Conduct comprehensive searches for Board-level, C-Suite, and senior leadership positions, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies that meet their expectations.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential candidates, industry trends, and competitive intelligence, providing valuable insights for succession planning and talent development.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize multiple sourcing methods to identify and engage executive candidates, leveraging your network and expertise in referrals, direct outreach, and networking.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, organisational fit, and leadership capabilities, ensuring the best match for our organisation.
  • Offer Management: Manage complex offer negotiations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for selected candidates.
  • Employer Branding: Enhance our employer brand by creating compelling narratives and engaging with executive talent communities, showcasing our company values and culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of recruitment experience, preferably with a mix of agency and in-house recruiting experience, with at least 5 years of executive recruiting experience in the high-tech space focusing on digital services and technology-driven solutions.
  • Proven track record in recruiting senior leadership talent, with expertise in executive search processes and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with recruitment technology, ATS, CRM tools, and diverse social media platforms for talent pipeline management.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing candidates to the interview and hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive recruitment experience.
  • Able to evaluate market trends and data, design targeted recruitment strategies, and provide applicable insights for complex hiring challenges.
  • An advisor who can collaborate with leaders, align on hiring needs, and provide strategic guidance on recruitment and compensation decisions.
