Pastry Master Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Pastry Master to join our team at Talent Recruit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting exceptional pastry products and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: RM 6,500 - RM 8,000 per month

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced pastry professional with a strong background in bakery innovation. As a Senior Pastry Master, you will be responsible for upholding top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.

You will lead the development of new and seasonal creations in line with market trends, while maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace. Our ideal candidate will possess a creative and innovative mindset, with a deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold high standards of quality and consistency in all pastry and bakery products
  • Develop and refine recipes to ensure authenticity and contemporary appeal
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation
  • Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers to cultivate excellence
  • Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new creations in line with market trends
  • Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields
  • Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef specializing in bakery innovation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team
  • Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation
  • A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations
  • Familiarity with food regulations, labeling, and industry best practices particularly in bakery R&D
  • High attention to detail ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards
Work Arrangement
