Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality installation engineering deliverables, procedures, and documents.
- Engineering Expertise: Participate in conceptual and detail offshore installation engineering studies, ensuring full traceability of technical development.
- Interface Management: Manage external and internal interfaces, including clients, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
- Installation Planning: Supervise and participate in the design of installation aids and equipment required for offshore/onshore installation activities.
- Project Management: Accountable for budget and planning of the scope and team, contributing to subcontractor selection.
- Knowledge Sharing: Participate in engineers' training and development, and contribute to the consolidation of discipline/department know-how.
- Innovation and Risk Management: Propose safe and innovative solutions to reduce costs and risks, understanding supply chain management processes and key SCM commodity strategies.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure specifications and scopes of work are reviewed and agreed by relevant centres of competence, capturing quality issues in the relevant Quality Control Plan.
- Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and function within an installation engineering team and across multiple projects.
- Time and Budget Management: Ability to prioritize own and others' workload, manage time accordingly, and inform team members of constraints affecting a project.
- Interface Management: Manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client, and suppliers.
- Change Control: Manage change control within own remit on a project, informing team members of constraints affecting a project.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints, with good verbal and written English skills.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or Master's in a relevant engineering discipline, with 12+ years of working experience in the oil and gas industry relevant to offshore installation.
- Travel Requirements: Able to travel to onshore or offshore sites when required.
