Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop strategic plans to purchase electronic components on time.
  • Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure timely executions and track purchase price variance.
  • Ensure adequate supply for production build by maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Maintain purchasing parameters such as lead-time, cancellation window, reschedule window, MOQ, etc.
  • Minimize company risk by managing inventory, excess, and obsolescence.
  • Develop and maintain overall supplier performance and relationship.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Applications like Excel and knowledge of MRP and ORACLE system is an asset.
