Investment Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Advisor to join our Wealth Management team at Standard Chartered. As an Investment Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting Relationship Managers in delivering Wealth Management services to our clients.

• Business Strategy and Financial Planning
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets, AUM growth, and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Country Advisory Council to provide actionable ideas and product solutions.
• Market Outlook and Investment Solutions
  • Communicate house views on market outlook and provide actionable ideas and product solutions.
  • Ensure daily morning huddles at branches to brief current market direction and investment solutions.
• Client Management and Portfolio Review
  • Manage clients' investments through frequent and consistent portfolio review and advice.
• Risk Management and Compliance
  • Ensure all transactions follow regulations and controls set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure periodic updates of new regulatory requirements and/or operating procedures to sales force.
• Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

• Relationship Managers, Sales Team Managers, Cluster heads, Product Managers, Head of Investment Advisory & Strategy, Head of Managed Investments, External partners.

• Portfolio Theory.
• Asset Allocation.
• Market Knowledge (SIF).
• Products and Processes.

• IPCC, FIMM, relevant banca and takaful licenses.
• CFA/CFP preferred.
