About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled High Voltage Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective maintenance plans on medium and high voltage systems.
  • Present O&M perspectives in reviewing relay protection schemes and control designs.
  • Set up and lead a technical team to respond to electrical breakdowns.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders during project phases and the service warranty period.
  • Develop maintenance procedures for 6.6kV up to 132kV equipment.
  • Review project technical information and installation quality.
  • Verify all maintenance outcomes performed by technicians and contractors.
  • Gather information on design failures, installation quality, or materials quality issues.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Possess at least 7 years of working experience in the development or operation of Interconnection Facility (IF) up to 132kV.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or be a certified competent person by Suruhanjaya Tenaga in 33kV or 132kV discipline.
  • Expert in protection co-ordination studies and configuration of major relay brands approved by TNB for Utility-Scale Solar Interconnection Facility.
  • Experience with commissioning SAT/FAT activities including secondary injection testing.
  • Experience in secondary and primary designs of medium and high voltage equipment, including protection, metering, automation, power quality, and ICT.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Customer-oriented, independent, and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills, with excellent verbal and written proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Possess a valid driving license D, and able to travel to remote areas.
