About the Role
The Data Analyst/Manager will be responsible for utilizing credit bureau and other relevant data to create proposition solutions for banks and non-banks on retail and SME loan portfolios. This includes handling and manipulating large data sets, supporting the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven actionable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize credit bureau data and other relevant data sources to create proposition solutions for banks and non-banks on retail and SME loan portfolios
- Handle and manipulate large data sets using SAS, Python, and R
- Support the development and implementation of advanced analytics models for risk management and credit scoring using SAS or similar tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven actionable insights and recommendations
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a background in banking and credit risk, specifically in retail and SME banking. They should also possess a good understanding of statistical and data visualization techniques, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc.) is required, along with minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, focusing on credit risk management and/or banking.
