**Job Summary**:A barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and other beverages to customers. They are also expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and uphold the quality standards of the establishment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Prepare Beverages**: Prepare and serve a range of coffee, tea, and other beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and iced drinks, according to customer preferences and established recipes.

**Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide a friendly, efficient, and personalized service experience. Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

**Quality Control**: Ensure that beverages are consistently made to the highest quality and presentation standards. Monitor product freshness and quality.

**Maintain Equipment**: Keep coffee and espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment clean and in working order. Report any equipment issues to the manager.

**Cash Handling**: Handle cash and card transactions accurately and maintain an organized cash register. Give correct change and provide receipts as needed.

**Stock and Inventory**: Restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as necessary. Maintain proper inventory levels and report any shortages to management.

**Cleanliness**: Keep the work area, including countertops, utensils, and equipment, clean and sanitized at all times. Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.

**Menu Knowledge**: Stay informed about the menu, including seasonal offerings, and provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not always required.
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
