Warehouse Executive

**RESPONSIBILITIES**: 1. Warehouse Operations - Monitoring the warehouse daily operation to ensure that it is carried out in an efficient and effective manner; - Co-ordinate warehouse activities by overseeing the aspects of receiving, storage, picking, packing and discrepancies reporting; - Monitor the flow of the overall stock movement in the warehouse; - Implement, monitor and provide continuous improvements on warehouse layout/ design to obtain optimal utilization of storage space and working area; - Inspect incoming goods for defects and to notify purchasing/ shipping PIC and generate the proper documents accordingly; - Allocation of Bin for physical goods; - Spot-checking on whether the inventory are stored in correct designated location; - Planning, monitoring of the Assembly Schedule and conduct problem-solving where necessary; - Enhance customer satisfaction by reducing wrong shipment, wrong quantity and late deliveries; - Monitor closely on 3rd.Party Warehouse cost; - On-going review, implementation and monitoring of the warehousing controls. 2. Logistics Operations - Coordinate with Purchasing/ Shipping Department to ensure smooth receiving activities; - Liaise with Customer Service Personnel to ensure timely deliveries to Rodalinks and customers; - Monitor Daily Delivery Planning Schedule and problem solving (together with Warehouse & Logistics Exec) when there are issues with the daily planning schedule; - Monitor the arrangement of lorry to self-collect LCL Shipment from supplier at Port Klang; - Random spot-check on physical goods on lorry vs. documents; - Monitor closely on transportation & delivery cost. 3. Inventory - Ensure proper Inventory Management - ie. all inventory are controlled, stored and segregated properly; - Ensure integrity and accuracy of stock inventory; - Analyze and conduct problem solving with regards to inventory discrepancies; - Overseeing the random stock-count, yearly cycle-count and stock reconciliation; - Ensure the practice of FIFO (First In, First Out) is carried out; - Implement, monitor and provide _continuous improvements_ with regards to inventory tracking and identification of inventories for fast retrieval and recording purposes; - Monitor goods return and to ensure its accuracy. 4. System - Ensure timely and accurate data entry and inventory records for input into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Eg. Carrying out MIGO of incoming goods. 5. Company Policies, Rules & Regulations - Implementation and to ensure that overall warehouse operations comply with Company Policies, Rules & Regulations; - Develop and recommend policies and procedures to optimize warehouse capacity utilization, inventory management, process flow, delivery to customers and other aspects of warehousing and logistics. 6. Manpower - Supervision of warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks; - Motivation of staff to achieve the desired performance level and outcome; - Maintain staff discipline; 7. Security Control - To implement security as well as preventive measures and controls to counter missing, stolen or misplacement of goods. - Ensure all warehouse facilities, equipment and tools are properly maintained and comply with safety and 5S guidelines. 8. Reports & Filing - Verifying each delivery has supporting Invoices and Delivery Order (D/O); - Prepare Summary Report for daily delivery (MS.Excel) to monitor on whether the goods have been delivered and the status/progress of the delivery (in order to answer Sales PIC); - Analyze delivery routes/ trips of transporter (Klang Valley, outlets, outstation) to verify on delivery billings. 9. Housekeeping, 5S and Safety & Health - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for warehouse at all times; - Perform housekeeping and implementation of 5S program. **WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED** **In order to succeed in the role, you will need to have**: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and/ or logistic management or a similar role. - Experience/ proven record in managing > 5,000 SKUs - Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory management will be an added advantage, but not necessary; - Knowledge or working experience using SAP Warehouse Management System (SAP WMS) will be an added advantage. - Well versed in MS.Office (MS.Excel); - Can converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia; - MUST possess good planning, organizing, controlling, coordinating and problem solving skills; - Leader alike exposure ;possess good leadership, supervision, motivational and interpersonal skills; - Possess all the right attitudes such as a high level of integrity, passionate, proactive, self-disciplined, responsible, strong team spirit and an unquenchable desire to learn; - **Driven and willing to work extra hours to get the job done and produce results**; - MUST be meticulous while being able to see the whole picture and able to multitask; **Job Benefits**: - You will have the opportunity to retain a permanent po
