Driver - Team Lead

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Lead Role**:_
- Manage and supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee driver scheduling and route planning to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
- Maintain compliance with road / traffic rules, transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor driver performance metrics such as on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and customer service, implementing improvement strategies as needed.
- Handle driver-related issues, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance reviews.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and equipped for safe operation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance transportation operations, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Other ad-hoc work assigned by the Director.
- **Driver Role**:_
- Safely and punctually transport the Director to and from work and other designated locations.
- Drive the Director's family members, visitors, business partners, and associates to authorized destinations.
- Ensure the car is clean / sanitize at all times.
- Carry out routine inspection on the vehicles to ensure that it is always in good condition. Also, to remind office admin of the renewal and management of road tax, car insurance etc. with consultation from Director / Director's Office.
- Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the car and carry out minor repairs and maintenance where necessary.
- Safely keep receipts for toll, petrol, parking, vehicle repairs and maintenance and other records and reports concerning the employer's car and travel.
- Must be PUNCTUAL in attendance and strictly maintain timing schedule (daily clock-in & clock out).
- Ensure passenger and vehicle safety, complying with all road and traffic regulations.
- Support the Director with assigned tasks.

**Qualifications, Requirements & Skills**
- **Qualifications**_
- At least SPM level.
- At least 3 years of personal driver working experience is required for this position.
- Basic computer literacy (able to use Microsoft Office will be an added advantage).
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English Language.
- **Requirements**_
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team effectively (experience in leading will be an added advantage).
- Capable and willing to perform administrative work / paperwork.
- Strong knowledge of road / traffic rules, transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Good Automotive / car knowledge.
- Valid Driving License: Class D.
- Careful safe driver with NO previous disciplinary records or criminal records or previous traffic offences.
- Well-versed with the roads in Klang Valley and Selangor and familiar with Waze and Google Map navigation system.
- Willing to work long hours and occasionally Saturday or Sunday.
- Able to travel outstations and overnight.
- Willing / able to commute / relocate as work locations are more to Shah Alam / Subang area.
- Applicant with legal right to work in Malaysia.
- Honest and able to take instructions properly.
- Must be punctual, responsible, discipline, passionate to work and maintain perfect attendance.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
