Being part of the BV family, is more than just working, it’s being convinced that you **will leave your mark... in shaping a world of Trust**. **Responsibilities**: **Main**: - Perform duties as lead auditor/auditor reporting to QHSE Technical Manager. - To support in market expansion in East Malaysia, particularly Sarawak. - Identification of opportunities and sharing with sales team to follow up. - To assimilate, understand and operate the BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION Management System. - To control the overall performance of audit activities, including any planning, review and the control of the other members of the audit team - Authority over whatever decisions are necessary during the audits and to recommend the presentation or otherwise of a certificate of approval. - To decide upon evidence gained during Audits whether or not certification should be granted or allowed to continue. - To assist in the training of other Auditors and Lead Auditors, either during planned Audits or during other training functions. - To maintain all current Memberships and Registrations applicable to the post. - To maintain continuous professional development - To undertake any other activities, as directed by the TM. **Progressive**: - To assist in recruiting subcontractors in East Malaysia to support audit needs, depending on schemes not limited to QHSE only. - Participate in the business growth plan with sales and operations. - Any other task assigned from time to time by company that is within the capabilities and competency. **Job Requirements**: - Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience in the industry and/or third party auditing. - Lead Auditor Qualification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. - Having background (at least 1 year working experienced and related education background; total working experience in industry required is minimum 5 years) in construction, shipbuilding, metal, electrical an equipment manufacturing - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Resourcefulness in identifying talents and fostering industrial partnerships. - Passion for driving excellence and a strong drive for growth. - Comfort working in a strong service environment, with excellent interpersonal, written, and general communication skills. - Ability to effectively persuade and influence others. - Ability to negotiate with Non-Exclusive hires. - Self-motivated and independent, with effective execution power.
