**Position Summary**:
As Paramedic, your task is to render first aid assistance to guests and employees in a safe environment in LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort in accordance to the First Aid Standard Procedure. You are always the first one at the scene of the accident and are responsible for the initial assessment of a patient’s condition.

**Scope and Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate a patient’s condition to determine the right course of treatment.
- Provide first aid treatment for injuries or illness to guests or employees at the First Aid Centre or within the resort.
- Respond to and help to resuscitate patients in an emergency before hospital admission (e.g. heart attack, concussion, major limb fracture, etc).
- Provide medical assistance during emergency situations, such as CPR, AED, prevent shock, control severe bleeding, prevent spinal damage, etc.
- Help to calm down the family members of the victim and the public on scene.
- Create a patient incident and care report and take notes of the medical treatment given to the patient accurately.
- Keep the equipment clean after use; check and replace damaged and used supplies. Ensure that all first aid boxes/ eye wash stations etc. provided for employees in the resort are valid for used.
- Act as the liaison point/ base for the Park Lost Children Procedure. Taking charge of either lost children or parents who lost their children and help to ensure they are reunited.
- Administer the Queue Assist Policy - the issue of identity bands to those guests who are unable to queue due to a disability.
- Use the First Aid buggy to ensure prompt attendance to any incident point and to transport a casualty back to the First Aid Centre.
- Ensure that the First Aid Centre is kept clean, tidy and ready for medical assistance at any time.
- Purchasing and maintaining medical supplies (Eg: Bandage, handiplaster, Iodine & etc) in the park.
- Support and exercise the MERLIN values.

**Background and Experience**:

- Certified BLS (Basic Life Support)-trained.
- Applicant should have minimum 1 year clinical working experience OR industrial training.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong command of written and spoken (English).
- Vast First Aid & Paramedic experience would be an advantage.
- Requires the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to multi task and have a flexible, calm and effective response to conflicts or difficult interpersonal situations.
- Be presentable at all times with the right ‘can-do’ attitude in order to deliver excellence.

**Education**:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Nursing and registered with the Malaysia Nursing Board.

**Additional Information**:

- Malaysian.
- Fully vaccinated (includes Booster).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Clinical working: 1 year (preferred)
- Vast First Aid & Paramedic: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- BLS (Basic Life Support) (preferred)
