A hotel security is responsible for providing safety in hotels. Assist protect guests and their valuables, as well as fellow hotel employees. Typically, hotel security guards do not carry firearms, although there might be weapons on the premises they can access if required. Their typical duties and responsibilities include:

- Conduct regular patrolling the hotel premises (both interior and exterior)
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates, checking the parking area and ensuring there are no unauthorized vehicles
- Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting or loitering around the hotel public or guest areas.
- Filling in the security log (this is a small report of what areas have been checked)
- Conduct investigations and compile reports on a timely manner for any theft, loss, accidents or any aspect that risk the safety of the hotel..
- Record and notify all risks, deviations from hotels safety standards and any untoward incidents.
- Develops and maintains a monthly checklist for all CCTV equipment, alarmed doors, and panic / duress alarms to ensure that they are fully functional.
- Be available 24 hours a day for genuine emergencies within the property.
- Perform all tasks consistently in line with the hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
- Perform first aid or CPR in case emergency

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 1 years experience work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Integrity and professionalism
- Language proficiency (English and other languages)
- Possess license from private security regulatory authority is advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
