The Site Planner plays a key role in developing, monitoring, and managing detailed project schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of construction works in compliance with JKR standards and project requirements. This role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align site activities with the master plan, proactively identifying risks and delays, and supporting informed decision-making through accurate progress reporting and resource planning.

**Responsibilities**:
Schedule Development and Management
- Lead the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using MS Project or

Primavera P6.
- Establish timelines, critical paths, milestones, and resource allocation plans independently or with mínimal supervision.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor and analyze site progress, identify delays, prepare recovery plans, and advise the project team on necessary corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management and clients.

Resource Management
- Plan and coordinate resource allocation to maximize site productivity and cost efficiency.
- Support project managers in forecasting and resolving resource constraints.

Risk Management
- Proactively identify schedule and resource risks, conduct impact analysis, and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Contribute to project risk registers and participate in risk review meetings.

Collaboration and Communication
- Act as a key liaison between planning teams, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to align on schedules and deliverables.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts

Quality Assurance
- Ensure site activities comply with planning specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct periodic checks to verify compliance with planned sequences and work breakdown structures.

Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed project records, including work programs, progress claims, extension-of-time documentation, and variation orders.

Adherence to JKR Standards
- Ensure full compliance with JKR procedures, regulations, and contract conditions throughout project execution.

**Requirement**:

- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in construction planning/scheduling for medium-to-large scale projects.
- Advanced Planning Skills: Strong track record in developing and managing complex schedules independently.
- Technical Proficiency: Sound understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and statutory regulations (JKR standards preferred).
- Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to interpret progress data and propose workable solutions to scheduling issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to liaise with senior management, consultants, and contractors.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Project; knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar tools is an advantage.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
